Andy:
I liked your postcard that I received the other day, so I decided to check out your website and subsequently signed up for the "Keep me Informed" emails.
I do not like the direction the state (or the country) is going towards. I want a balanced budget based on realistic levels of income in NH. I am particularly concerned about how quickly our personal liberties are being stripped away from us and the high taxes the government thinks "we owe them." To paraphrase: "It's my money, not the governments." I don't think the government's role is to dole out money to solve every problem, but to work cooperatively with the private sector and non-profits to see progress being made for the betterment of society. I am not fond of the direction we are headed towards socialism, redistribution of income, universal healthcare, eminent domain giveaways, and similar issues. I am very pro business, particularly small business. While I abhor the whole concept of earmarks because of the unthinking way they expand the Federal budget, at the same time I ask - "Okay, how else do we take our money back and get it back to the local level where the money has a chance of doing good work?" Ridiculous that we have to send money to begin with through many layers of bureaucracy up and then back down.
I am a full-time volunteer in the Hillsborough area – I write grants, do project management, and also professional graphic design for several non-profits and the schools as needed. I sit on several working boards, among them, Family Youth Investment (FYI).
I'll vote for you on Tuesday.

My fellow residents,
Please take a moment and read why I am voting for Andy Sanborn for State Senate. As a registered Republican as you can imagine I have become more and more unhappy with the direction of our party and our State. I have in the past 2 election voted straight Democrat and a mixture of both because I have become convinced that the only way to make our leaders realize their mistakes is to take their power away from them. You can imagine how happy I was to read and hear about Andy's ideas and dreams for our state, he will bring back our small town ideas and values and I look forward to voting again for my ideals. Please join me on Tuesday, Sept 9th to take our state back and make it a better place for our kids, neighbors and ourselves.

Official endorsement:
Since the day I met Andy Sanborn, I felt that he and his wife radiated integrity and good will. When I then pushed past first impressions and became closer with them, I found that my original impression could not have been closer to the truth. Andy Sanborn truly is one of the few 'good guys' left in this world and in correlation with that, has always fought for what is right. When he says that he is going to fight against tax increases, gun limitations, and large budgets, I know that he will do exactly as he says. I feel that a person so truthful, down-to-earth, and straight forward, is exactly what we need to take back this great state's legislature.
