Transparency

It’s your money, so you have a right to know where it’s going

One of the largest challenges we face in New Hampshire is a lack of transparency in knowing where the money is going.  We have seen several small attempts to clear the fog, but today, our State continues to operate with an old, outdated system where we don’t even have the ability to report what the State writes for checks.  This is a top priority for the long-term viability of our State.  As taxpayers, you have the right to full disclosure on who the State pays and how much as well as the right to review every contract into which our State enters.

When states like South Carolina can create a complete transparent state government in 90 days, New Hampshire should be able to complete the task quickly and efficiency.
